The only change i'm going to likely make when i get the theme would be the following; [link]

I'm not a fan of all the fluff at the bottom of themes these days (that's what the sidebar is for) but i think i'm a minority when it comes to that. Just thought i'd throw it out there, see what others think. :)

He told me he is almost done with the backend for the options page and other functionalities. He will soon start the front end.

Great to hear. Have you decided on a price for the theme? I think i remember you saying something about this theme costing something due to 1. Chris coding it, and 2. it being a premium theme...

no, this is going to be a Free Premium theme. The only thing is this theme will be part of an opensource project later on but I still need to make the website. We want to create a large community of Wordpress designers and developers working all together on building some beautiful and free Premium themes.

At the moment I will design the themes and Chris will code them but anyone who's a bit talented can join us. I will talk more about it on my site when we are ready.

Even better. You'll have a donation link i hope. Seeing how much effort you have put into this theme, i would have gladly paid (though no idea how much i can spare right now) but i'll gladly donate some money via PayPal once this is released.

I wish more Wordpress theme developers offered their premium themes for free. $5, $10, even $20 is better than nothing at all, so when they charge $69+ for their themes...i don't fee one bit of remorse when i pass on them.

Yes, we're going to have a donation link for our opensource project so we can reward the designers who will contribute to this opensource project with some money even if it is not a lot.
